Lines delivers standout Rotax RMC Euro Trophy Victory in Genk, Belgium
Finlay Lines delivered a commanding performance at last weekend’s RMC Euro Trophy round in Genk, Belgium, converting outright pace into a flawless overall victory.
The weekend got off to the perfect start as Finlay topped the timing sheets in qualifying, securing overall pole position for the heat races and laying the foundation for a strong campaign.
Starting from the front, Finlay demonstrated impressive consistency throughout the heats. He claimed victory in Heat 1 before adding a second-place finish in Heat 2 after a closely fought race. He returned to the top step in Heat 3, ensuring he headed into Sunday’s finals as the driver to beat.
Maintaining his momentum, Finlay controlled the pre-final from lights to flag to take another victory and secure pole position for the all-important Final.
In the Final, Finlay produced one of his most mature drives of the season. Managing the race from the front pack, Finn drop back to P4 on the start. He remained composed under pressure, controlled the pace when it mattered. On lap 6 he took the race lead and crossed the line in first place to complete a dominant weekend in Belgium.
Taking pole position, two heat wins, a second-place finish, the Pre-Final victory and the Final win, Finlay leaves Genk with maximum confidence after an outstanding result in the Euro Trophy championship.
