After an impressive debut season in 2020, when he won the final round and ended the year third in the Touring Car Trophy, Irish teenager Max Hart will return to the grid in 2021 driving one of Maximum Motorsport’s recently acquired Hyundai i30N TCRs.
Burns (Rob Boston Racing) headed into the final weekend on the cusp of overall glory, after a great run of three wins in the previous six races built him a crucial advantage over his rivals. The two-time runner-up in the series knew he had to finish just one race to secure the coveted title.
An emotional second win in as many races was a blessing for Jack Depper, who has stamped his authority upon his return to the Volkswagen Racing Cup. Starting sixth in the reverse grid proceedings, the Birmingham-based driver continued his perfect run of races at Donington Park.

Last nights awards evening was the perfect end to a fantastic season racing with you all at Maximum Motorsport. The trophies provided by you are absolutely mind-blowing, they will hold pride of place in our boardroom.
We at Ciceley Motorsport have enjoyed every second of your extremely well organised, professionally run championship. We have felt welcome at every race and although we have had nothing negative or constructive to add to the way the championship is run, feel that if there every was problem, we would have a voice and any comments that we made would be seriously considered. None of the four championships we are currently involved with, or that, I have been involved with in the past, including Motogp, would afford us the same privilege!
I would be grateful if you pass on our thanks to rest of your incredible team, for their hard work, dedication and commitment to making the TCR/TCT UK championship a continued success in the future.
We at Ciceley Motorsport are already ‘rev’ed up’ and looking forward to racing in your championship and working alongside you again in 2020.
Thanks again, I really can’t get over the magnificent trophies and the presentation of the room in which the awards evening was held. You created the perfect evening in a perfect setting, everybody that attended enjoyed a fantastic night.
A great team, they know the cars really well and there’s not much set up they haven’t tried before! A key ingredient when racing in a one make series! Always fun and very welcoming at every event, And then there’s the man himself Stewart, Our Jeff! Mr Motorsport.
If you’re looking at teams and series to compete in then look no further as in this team you become the Max in MAXIMUM Motorsport.
My racing career started as a 50 year old rookie during 2016 when I entered the VAG Trophy in a VW Scirocco rented from and run by Maximum Motorsport. It was a “baptism of fire” whilst I managed to survive the season.
In 2018 Maximum introduced me to the Dunlop Britcar Endurance Championship, a very intense format that I relished.
I scored more points than any other driver and won the 2018 Britcar Driver of the Year Award. We entered Britcar again in 2019 and we are currently 1st in Class 4 and 2nd in the overall championship after 12 races with 4 remaining.
Maximum motorsport cars are always well prepared, reliable and “on the pace”. This year we’ve finished 12 races out of 12 with 10 podiums, including 2 Class wins. It doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a team effort and our Maximum Motorsport Britcar Team is a great team.
