Finlay Lines: Winner of Hunts Kart Racing Club Round One

Lines claimed his first victory of the 2024 season as he took the win in the first round of the Hunts Kart Racing Club Championship at Kimbolton.

The Synergy Factory driver started heat one from the last row of the grid, with 31 drivers taking part in the event.

Lines worked hard to make his way up the order, finishing in ninth place, having made up twenty-two positions during the heat race.

The Maximum Motorsport ace started heat two from pole position.

The lead changed hands several times during the heat, with Lines having an answer for each of his opponents who tried to take the lead. Lines went on to take the heat two win.

Starting from the front row for the Final, the Synergy Factory driver took the lead into turn one.

Despite the battle for the lead becoming a four-way affair in the late stages, Lines stayed ahead to score his first victory of the season.

Lines also set the event lap record, in heat one, with the fastest lap time of 43.88 seconds.
