Podium finish for Lines in Disrupted Whilton Mill Warm-Up Event

Lines took the positives from the weekend on his return to the Whilton Mill venue, where he ended the Whilton Mill Warm-Up with a podium finish in the Rotax Mini (Inter) Final.

The Synergy Kart driver set the pace in Qualifying, where he took pole position ahead of the two heats on Sunday, competing against 32 other drivers in his class.

Taking the lead in heat one from pole, the Maximum Motorsport talent was leading strongly, before being caught out by a wet patch on track.

Recovering from his spin, Lines worked his way back from 16th place to finish in 10th place.

Lines got his head down and was back on form for heat two, where he led from pole position and took the heat race win.

Starting from 4th on the grid for the Final, despite the disruptive on-track incidents caused by other competitors, Lines managed to come away with a 3rd place podium finish.

Congratulations to Lines’ teammate Luca Holmes-Balac, on taking the Rotax Mini (Inter) Final race win.

The Synergy Kart team worked hard to provide Lines with the tools he needed for another trophy-winning weekend. We send our thanks to team bosses Rob Hanscomb & Mike Spencer and everyone in the team.

Lines’ mechanic Macaulay Austin worked with the young Staffordshire-based driver across the event and we thank him for all his support and hard work.

We send our sincere thanks to everyone at KR Racing Engines, whose engine powered Finlay to another podium finish in 2024.

Finally, we send our appreciation to Neil Riddiford at IZone Driver Performance works hard with Lines in between events, helping him to develop and grow as a driver.
