Lines rewarded with top four finish after charging comeback in Zuera

Finlay Lines saved the best until last as he fought his way to a top-four finish in the second round of the 2025 IAME Euroseries, in Zuera.

The Argenti Motorsport Academy driver hit the ground running during Free Practice, putting him on the front foot against a field of 46 drivers.

Lines was fast out of the gates during the first heat, leading in the early stages before ultimately settling for a fifth-place finish. Despite his rivals attempting to slow his progress, Finlay soaked up race-long pressure to hold on to fourth position in the second heat.

Contact from another driver on the formation lap for the third and final heat knocked his rear bumper and ruined his chances of a good finish before the heat had even begun. Taking a brilliant second-place finish on track, Finlay was later disqualified from the heat due to his rear bumper being dislodged from the contact behind.

Undeterred, Lines got himself back in the game for the first Superheat. He bravely fought his way forward, finishing in sixth position from ninth on the grid, to give himself a fighting chance in the Final.

The Maximum Motorsport driver held nothing back, starting from the eighth row, ready to show what he could do when asked to deliver.

Taking no prisoners throughout the 14-lap race, Finlay charged his way up the order, crossing the line in a well-earned seventh position. Promoted to fourth place after post-race penalties were applied, the British driver had pulled off an impressive feat of making up 12 positions during the race.

Finlay thanks Ben Platten and the team at BMR Karting for their hard work and support across the event, as well as Alex Pendlebury, who was his mechanic throughout the event.

Finlay also sends his thanks to S Sport Engines, who provided him with their power units and support for the event.

Finlay sends his congratulations to the X30 Junior Final winner Dan Alleman.
