TCR Licencing agreement reached between the British Racing & Sports Car Club & Maximum Motorsport for 2025 BRSCC Pro Sports Sprint Series
Maximum Motorsport can confirm today that it has reached an agreement with the British Racing & Sports Car Club regarding the authorised entry of Gen 1 TCR cars in 2025.
This new agreement, with the BRSCC using an authorised sub-licence, means that all homologated TCR cars can compete in the 2025 Pro Sports Sprint Series only.
This new-for-2025 series provides a “high-level” sprint format for machinery that currently doesn’t enjoy a BRSCC-dedicated platform.
TCR UK Championship Promoter Stewart Lines commented on the new agreement between both organisations.
“With over 70 TCR cars in the UK, it’s clear that the TCR concept has grown since it arrived in 2018. This growing market provides UK competitors with the chance to drive a TCR Touring Car in both Sprint and Endurance formats.”
“Today, we welcome the new sub-licence agreement with the BRSCC. Our aim is to work with all parties who own TCR cars to give them a legal platform to operate in and be a part of the TCR family moving forward. This new agreement is the next step in achieving this important goal.”
BRSCC Chief Operating Officer Paul McErlean also commented on the new agreement.

“Our new-for-2025 Pro Sports Sprint series is designed to cater for higher powered tin top machinery as well as factory built race cars, and it gives a great opportunity for TCR cars to now join the grid.”
