Finlay Lines scores top five finish at opening SKRC round

After getting his season underway at Kimbolton at the start of the year, Finlay was back in action last weekend for round one of the Shennington Kart Racing Club at Shennington Kart Club.

The Synergy Racing Developments driver began well in heat one, taking a top three finish before going to take a top four finish in heat two from twelfth place.

Making up ten places in heat three saw Finlay take seventh place and this was enough to get him through to the Final.

During what was a hard-fought final on a cold weekend, Finlay braved the elements and finished in fourth place, crossing the finish line 0.61 seconds behind the race winner Max Endacott
