Strong weekend for Lines in PF International British Championships thriller

Finlay Lines enjoyed a strong weekend during rounds five and six of the 2025 Wera Tools British Karting Championships IAME at PF International.

Part of a strong entry of 30 drivers in the X30 Junior class, Finlay pushed hard in Qualifying to give himself a chance to maximise the opportunities ahead.

The Argenti Motorsport Academy driver scored enough points from the heat races to put him inside the top eight for the final of round five. Pushing his way forward throughout the race, Finlay’s efforts were rewarded with a sixth-place finish.

The West Midlands driver took the fight to his rivals during round six, where he briefly led during heat two, showing big improvement in his ultimate race craft.

The challenges put in front of the Maximum Motorsport driver during the final didn’t faze him, avoiding an early on-track clash between rivals and pulling off some great overtaking moves at both hairpins.

Lines finished off a strong weekend with a fifth-place finish in a frantic final, leaving him in ninth place in the drivers’ championship after six events.

Finlay thanks his mechanic Tommy Weyer for his hard work and guidance during the event.

He also sends his thanks to both BMR Karting and S Sport Engines for providing him with the tools and support that gave him the chance to fight so hard across the weekend.

Finlay sends his congratulations to round winners Aaron Richardson and Mayan Patel.
