Lines begins 2024 British Karting Championships challenge underway at PFI

2024 British O Plate Champion Finlay Lines began his challenge for the 2024 Wera Tools British Karting Championships at PF International in Lincolnshire last weekend.

Racing against 37 other drivers in the MiniMax 950 class across the three-day event, the Synergy Kart driver finished inside the top four in his qualifying group.

Taking part in two out of the three heats, Lines finished heat two in second place on track before a post-race penalty was applied.

Despite this, the Maximum Motorsport driver went all out in heat three, where he made up 4 places to take the heat win.

Lines’s forward progress up the standings continued in the Pre-Final where he made up 6 places to line up in fourth place for the Final.

The Synergy Kart driver set the fastest lap of the weekend after leading in the middle part of the race, before going on finishing in second place on the road, however a post-race penalty dropped him down to seventh place.

After the first round of the 2024 Wera Tools British Karting Championships, Lines sits in 5th place in the points standings with 6 events left to go.

Lines sends his thanks to everybody involved with the Synergy Factory team, including Mike Spencer and KR Racing Engines for always making sure my engines are on point.

Macaulay Austin, I’ve learnt a lot this weekend and I will come back stronger next time out.
