Finlay Lines Delivers Strong Weekend at BNL Champions Winter Cup
Finlay Lines Racing enjoyed an impressive and competitive weekend at the BNL Champions Winter Cup, showing strong pace throughout the one-off event and securing a solid result against high-level competition.
Qualifying proved to be a challenging start to the meeting, with on-track factors affecting overall performance. Lines finished the session P11 in his group, leaving plenty of work to do heading into the heats.
Finlay responded immediately in Heat 1 with an excellent drive through the field, battling hard to claim a superb P4 finish and quickly moving himself into contention.
Heat 2 saw Lines produce one of his strongest performances of the weekend, crossing the line in P1 after a brilliant run at the front. A extremely harsh post-race penalty later dropped him back to P10 in the official results, but the pace shown was a clear highlight.
Momentum continued into the Super Heat, where Finlay once again demonstrated his speed and consistency with an outstanding P3 finish, earning a strong starting position of 7th on the grid for the Final.
In the main event, Lines delivered another determined and composed drive, fighting hard in close battles to bring the kart home in an excellent P5 finish to round off a very positive weekend.
Finlay also expressed his thanks to KR Sport for all their support and hard work throughout the meeting.
With strong performances across every session, Finlay Lines Racing leaves the Winter Cup with plenty of confidence heading into the season ahead.
