Finlay Lines signed off his 2026 Junior X30 British Kart Championship campaign in spectacular fashion at Silverstone, taking victory in both junior finals to secure third place in the final championship standings.

The season finale provided the perfect opportunity for Finlay to finish his Junior campaign on a high, and he delivered exactly that with two controlled and highly competitive performances at the front of one of the UK’s strongest Junior X30 fields.

Finlay showed strong pace from the opening session, qualifying fifth before producing two consistent heat performances. He finished fifth in Heat 1 before moving forward to third in Heat 2, putting himself firmly into contention for the opening final.

When it mattered, Finlay delivered.

A strong drive in the first final, following the correct late tyre call to wet tyres, saw him take the chequered flag in P1. Securing his first victory of the Silverstone weekend and giving his championship campaign a significant boost heading into the second day.

Saturday brought another qualifying session, with Finlay once again among the front-runners as he secured third place. He then backed that up with third-place finishes in both Heat 3 and Heat 4, maintaining his position at the sharp end of the field throughout the weekend.

The second final would prove to be another close contest. Starting on pole, Finlay once again keeping his composure under pressure. In a thrilling finish, he crossed the line just 0.076 seconds ahead of Danny Dempsey to claim his second victory of the weekend.

Two finals. Two victories.
