Finlay Lines fights back in Round 3 of the 2023 HKRC Championship

Finlay worked hard in the third round of the 2023 HKRC Championship at Hunts Kart Racing Club, Kimbolton last weekend, missing out on a top-five finish despite showing front running pace.

The Dan Holland Racing driver, competing in the Minimax 950 class, began heat one in sixteenth place on the grid, however, he worked his way up to finish in seventh place by the end of the session.

In heat two, the Maximum Motorsport driver started on the front row, in second place. Finlay crossed the line at the end of the heat in second place, finishing nearly three seconds ahead of the rest of the field.

Finlay’s efforts in both heats put him in fourth place in the Intermediate Classification, which set the grid for the Final.

Starting in fourth place on the grid, Finlay was pushed out wide on the opening lap which dropped him down the order. Finlay worked hard in the remaining laps to cross the line in sixth place overall.

Finlay sends his thanks to his mechanic Jamie Dzyra and Dan Holland Racing for all their hard work and support over the weekend.
