Andrew Rogerson becomes first confirmed driver for Audi Cup in 2026

Andrew Rogerson has been confirmed as the first driver to sign for the Audi Cup, marking an important early announcement ahead of the upcoming season.

Rogerson brings with him a wealth of experience across a variety of club-level championships, having built a reputation as a consistent and competitive racer over a number of years. His signing represents a key milestone for the Audi Cup as preparations continue for the new campaign.

Racing has long been at the heart of Rogerson’s journey, with karting forming the foundation of his career before progressing into car racing. After several seasons competing in MG Owner Club championships, he enjoyed notable success, including a championship title in 2015 and further strong results in subsequent years.

After a break from competition, Rogerson returned to the grid in 2023, competing in Legends UK where he finished second in the Rookies standings in what proved to be a highly successful comeback season. Loyal sponsor support and an enjoyment-driven approach to racing underpinned a strong year on track.

In 2025, Rogerson stepped up to the The Audi TT Cup, taking on a competitive grid of experienced drivers. Despite challenges early in the season, including power issues and difficult starts, he secured strong results including multiple race wins and a second-place finish in the overall championship standings, underlining both pace and consistency.

The move to the Audi Cup for 2026 represents a new chapter, with Rogerson embracing the opportunity to tackle a fresh challenge and be part of the championship from its very beginning.

“I’m really looking forward to getting started in the Audi Cup,” said Rogerson. “Racing has always been about enjoyment and family for me, and this feels like the right time to take on something new. Being the first driver announced is exciting, and I’m keen to see how things develop.”

Championship Manager Jack Finlan is pleased to welcome Rogerson to the Audi Cup grid and believes his experience will be a valuable addition as the series continues to build momentum.

“It’s great to be able to announce Andrew as the first confirmed driver for the Audi Cup,” said Finlan. “Having a driver with Andrew’s experience on board so early is a positive step for the championship, and we’re looking forward to seeing him on the grid.”
