Volkswagen Racing Cup to Continue as part of British GT package for 2020

Maximum Motorsports Volkswagen Racing Cup is delighted to announce that the series will continue to support the British GT Championship for 2020, racing alongside them for all of the mainland events.

The news ensures the calendar remains stable for another year, with the season again starting at Oulton Park for the traditional Easter Holiday round on the 13th April. The series will continue to support the SRO championship at Snetterton, Silverstone, Donington Park GP and Brands Hatch before once again returning to Donington Park for the season finale in September.

Championship coordinator Stewart Lines said; “It’s fantastic news that the VW Racing Cup is staying with the British GT for 2020. It’s a premium package and the VW Cup offers fantastic value for drivers young and old alike to be able to compete on one of the biggest stages in British Motorsport.”

Further rounds will be announced in due course, as the VW Cup prepares for its third decade of competition. This weekend will see the finale of the 2019 season where the series looks to crown its twentieth winner.
