Maximum Motorsport to provide support to the British Endurance Championship for 2022

Maximum Motorsport is pleased to announce that it will provide support for this year’s inaugural British Endurance Championship, focusing on the TCR class.

The arrangement means that the UK TCR rights-holder becomes the official parts supplier to competitors running CUPRA, Audi and Volkswagen models in the championship.

Maximum Motorsport is the officially appointed promoter for the TCR brand in the UK and the sole UK distributor of TCR cars and parts for both CUPRA Racing and Audi Sport Customer Racing.

As well as providing support to the UK TCR market, Maximum Motorsport will also be involved in the scrutineering process of the TCR class within the BEC.

With a long tradition of being reliable and competitive in Endurance racing, TCR car numbers have grown year on year.

This extra support provides further confirmation of the growing base for using TCR cars in the UK in both Sprint and Endurance racing.

Maximum Motorsport owner and TCR UK promoter Stewart Lines sees the agreement between his company and the British Endurance Championship as another step forward for the TCR brand in the UK.

It also ensures that competitors have access to the official homologated parts and support and are able to race their cars in both series, gaining maximum exposure and getting the best value for money as they go racing each weekend.”

Claire Hedley, the Managing Director for the British Endurance Championship, also expressed her delight at the cooperation brought forward by the new agreement.
